Pan-fried Beef Cakes with Water Chestnuts
Ingredients:
150g   minced beef
4   water chestnuts
1   coriander
1 sprig   spring onion
1/2 cup   fresh bread crumbs

3 tbsps   beaten egg
little   ketcup or worcestershire sauce

Seasoning:
1/4 tsp   salt
1 tsp   sugar
1/4 tsp   ground black pepper
1 tbsp   Maggi seasoning sauce
1 tsp   worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp   corn flour
2 tbsps   water

Directions:
1.Remove bread crust, cut bread into fine dices; chop coriander and spring onion finely; peel water chestnuts and then cut into dices.
2.Mix beef with marinade and stir unilaterally until sticky. Add in bread crumbs, beaten egg, water chestnuts, coriander and spring onion dices, mix thoroughly, divide into ten portions, shape into small balls and then press into a cake.
3.Heat up some oil in a pan, put in beef cakes to pan-fry slightly. Cover it with a lid to fry for 1 minute, remove the lid, turn the cakes and then fry with the lid on for another minute. Remove the lid and continue to fry until both sides are browned and cooked. Transfer to a dish and serve with ketcup or worcestershire sauce.
